Leadership Perspectives: Energy Management Trends, Best Practices and Future
Challenges in the U.S. Retail Industry
is a comprehensive and dynamic executive report detailing
the challenges of retail industry energy use and
control. With
energy costs rising worldwide and with no immediate relief in
sight, we wanted to explore the energy cost impact on business
decisions regarding energy management systems in the U.S. retail
industry and the impact of these rising costs on the bottom line
of national retailers operating in the United States. What
that in mind, the objectives of the Research Project were to:
-
Identify
changing energy management perspectives at the management and
executive management levels;
-
Track
current trends in building management and energy management
system utilization;
-
Reveal
state-of-the-art thinking regarding technologies, policies and
development of energy efficient building construction and
building operations;
-
Identify
evolving attitudes toward energy efficiency, related costs and
economics and the rapidly emerging 'green' building movement.
The
results are insightful and can prove to be a useful tool as you
move forward to control your energy...
