Octopi is a powerful front-end controller for building automation systems (“BAS”). Containing a compact router/server, Octopi operates as your local network control system interface controlling all connected energy-consuming devices in your building. From your HVAC units to your lighting system, Octopi integrates all sensors and devices making it possible to collect building environmental data, monitor devices and user-created alarms, provide “on/off” control of equipment, and change system setpoints and schedules. All this is done through the onsite touch screen or your web-connected devices (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.). Octopi is capable of securely transmitting real-time building system information through a secure server for display of alarm and connectivity status for multiple sites.

Octopi was developed by C&C using our four decades of experience engineering, installing and servicing major controls manufacturers’ best products. Octopi supports a wide range of field networks for connection to remote I/O modules and standalone intelligent controllers, such as BACnet HVAC and intelligent lighting controllers. Octopi utilizes a quadcore processor with 2GHz of processing power and 4GB of memory storage for reliable performance under load. Additionally, Octopi functions as a web server with software residing onboard. This means that Octopi can be accessed securely from any internet-accessible device, without the need to purchase software or application licenses.
